High power photomicrographs of brain (pons) at autopsy in NBD using different stains:
A. Hematoxylin-eosin: shows parenchymal and perivascular (arrow) inflammatory cells.
B. Immuno-staining with a T-cell marker (MT1): shows that the inflammatory cells are exclusively T lymphocytes (arrow).
